OpenAir Classic XX 2026

We’re delighted to announce our 20th OpenAir Classic, Aug. 20-23, 2026, will be based in the Great Lakes port city of Manitowoc, Wisconsin on the beautiful blue shores of Lake Michigan.
Note: OAC has secured room blocks at special rates, with breakfast included, for a limited time. For exclusive access at a popular vacation time in Manitowoc’s travel season, be sure to request “OpenAir Room Block.”
Headquarter Hotel
Our friendly, easily-accessible, convenient, spacious, attentive, and comfortable Headquarters Hotel is one we thoroughly enjoyed in 2018 for OAC XIII—the elegant Holiday Inn of Manitowoc!
The very cooperative management has reserved a block of 145 rooms with excellent amenities including complimentary hot breakfast, free parking, and on-site registration at a retro rate ($129.00 plus taxes– double occupancy). We haven’t seen that kind of reasonable rate since 2022!
The headquarters will also host our Opening Banquet on Aug 20, be the Starting Grid for our Friday tour, be the site of our Saturday evening entertainment, and serve as the venue for Prize Awards and Wrap Up Ceremony on Aug 23rd. Daily touring will begin right out our front drive!

There are three steps to ensure you will be on the tour:
1. Sign up to become a member. Every OAC member who registers for the tour in the Members Only Registration Period (this May) is guaranteed a spot on the tour. As a non-member, you can reserve your hotel room but that does not guarantee you a spot on the tour. If you have questions about membership, please contact info@openairtours.com.
2. Reserve your hotel room today: Ask for the “OpenAir Tour Room Block” when making your reservation for any of the hotel blocks.
3. Complete your official registration form for the tour in May when it’s released and sent out by mail and email.

LIMITED GRID: As always, the grid will be limited to 200 vehicles. Every OAC member who registers for the tour in the Members Only Registration Period is guaranteed a spot on the grid.
REGISTRATION: The 200 car grid for Members Only will begin filling in May and go about 10 days before remaining spots will be opened to non-members.
